Students of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program learn and practice skills in multiple learning environments. The fully equipped TCM lab is where students learn to perform basic and advanced acupuncture skills, including body, scalp, and auricular needling procedures. Students also learn electro-acupuncture modalities, tuina (Chinese massage), cupping, and guasha.

In addition to profession-specific modalities, the lab functions as a space for inter-professional educational activities between TCM learners and those enrolled in other programs across the faculty.
