On a given training day, students run the exercises many times. Students get to adopt a role on different teams with each iteration, and each time there are surprises. To ensure that student firefighters get training under conditions they’ll face in the real world, each year Humber conducts several live burn exercises at a burn tower. This gives students the chance to gain professional confidence while putting their skills to the test.
