Affectionately known as 'The Apartment', this is a multi-program learning space. On any given day you may see:
- Paramedic students practicing a call to a resident who has fallen
- A Personal Support Worker student making a home visit to a client who needs daily care
- An Occupational Therapist Assistant/ Physiotherapist Assistant Student demonstrating home care exercises to a client post-surgery
- A Funeral Services Director student using a mannequin to simulate a transfer of a deceased person from their home
and many other examples.
The environment mirrors a true apartment setting with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting area. Multiple programs use this space to emulate real-world practice.
