This is Lynda Medeiros and I got the Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE) leadership award and I want to thank you because getting that award made me smile and proud.
I picked the CICE Program because I wanted to learn about college life and I wanted to work with other students in the program. I’m independent and I’m a good mentor to other students and help them with school work. My goals and plans are to work with children and special needs children. I also want to work in a daycare.
Thank you again for choosing me for receiving the award. I was happy and proud because going made me stayed positive and focused on my school work, and the classes made me had fun. Thanks again.

"I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for such an amazing CICE program. Our son has had the privilege and honour of being a part of this program this past year and it has been awesome! The staff are incredibly supportive and demonstrate a true understanding of our "kids". Our son has been so proud of his own accomplishments. He awakens at an early hour to take the buses on his own and has made many friends (the constant texting is wonderful!). He will call and let us know he is taking a later bus so he can "hang with his friends". (What an amazing accomplishment and happy, proud moment for us). He is eager to do his homework and has many conversations with us about the course content. The materials selected to teach in the different subjects are exactly what is necessary and has enabled us, as parents, to continue and reinforce the subject matter. (banking, speaking aloud, personal issues,...the list can go on and on).
I felt it was important to share with you, from a parent's point of view, how truly fantastic this program is for our son. He is transforming into an independent adult, filled with hopes and dreams for his future! Your amazing staff are truly professional and respectful. They share a vision for the learning and potential of each student!"

"What you do for people is immeasurable in its greatness. You realize that an opportunity to have an education, to be a part of a community and to have that college experience is a human right, not reserved for the "elite." You found the potential, where many would not even bother to look. This experience was exactly what our son needed to become the amazing person our family knew he could be when given the chance you graciously gave him. He could not do it, though, without people like you and programs like this!
