Nature initiatives increase opportunities for land and place based play, teaching, and learning, as well as providing opportunities to be more physically active and increasing strategies for mental health and wellness. Current nature-based initiatives link to Humber College’s 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, which positions “Healthy and Inclusive Community” as one if the strategic pillars, and identifies “Health and Well-Being” as one of Humber’s core values.
City Wide Training
City Wide Training (CWT) is a professional learning network that provides training opportunities for early childhood professionals to support the inclusion of all children. A collaboration between Humber College and the City of Toronto Children's Services was created to enhance quality and build capacity of our early learning and care community in the greater Toronto area.
