About the Child Development Centre
The Humber Child Development Centre (HCDC) has been serving our diverse community for over 30 years. Through our collaboration with families, the City of Toronto and other community partners, we continue to flourish and stay current in our practice as a dedicated team.

Our program values and strives to continuously cultivate and nurture authentic, caring relationships and connections between children, adults, community, and the world.
Supporting Our Community
The childcare staff builds connections in the community with our local library, fire and police services for example, to introduce children to community members. In addition to programs offered within the centre, Humber Child Development Centre is home to five Resource Consultants who work in the community to provide support to Children, Families and Early Childhood Education programs. We are also home to City Wide Training, an initiative through the City of Toronto, Every Child Belongs program to offer evidence -based professional development to Early Childhood Educators, Supervisors and Early Childhood personnel across Toronto.
