Navigating Health Care

Humber’s North Campus was proud to host The Central West Navigation Conference on Tues Sep 26. Navigators provide information, referrals, health and social service navigation to clients and patients. They are found in home and community care, community support services, mental health and addictions services, just to name a few. First year students from Humber’s System Navigation program also joined in and networked with conference attendees and exhibitors. Thank you to everyone who participated. These events are key for sharing successes, hearing what’s upcoming, and for those considering the field, hearing how significant systems navigators are in assisting individuals in receiving the care needed for better outcomes.

Host, organizers, and presenters pose by art created during the conference.
