Standard First Aid & CPR

Does Your Program or Employer Require First Aid and CPR Training?

Humber College offers a variety of First Aid and CPR classes in collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross. The First Aid & CPR classes are designed to teach lifesaving skills such as first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillation (AED). Courses are offered for students, health care providers, first responders, and the general public.

If you are part of the general public, Standard First Aid and CPR-C provides you with general training and lifesaving skills.

If you work in a healthcare profession, you will require Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Healthcare Provider (HCP) are the same level of training.

If you are a student, please check your program requirements to learn the level of training your program requires.
