Humber Launching Student Led Hearing Clinic

The Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness Teaching and Learning Hub (formerly known as the Centre for Healthy Living) is excited to announce the opening of Humber's Student Led Hearing Clinic in fall 2023.

Assessments and discussion are completed at no charge by Humber’s skilled third semester Hearing Instrument Specialist students.

The Clinic is targeting a variety of audiences:

  1. Anyone wishing to have a hearing health checkup. Make an appointment to receive a free hearing test and discussion of your results.
  2. Humber students in the trades or entering a profession with high noise level exposure are encouraged to get a free baseline hearing test, and learn how to safeguard your hearing from potential noise damage.
  3. Anyone with hearing aids seeking free hearing aid services, including cleaning, moisture removal, and functionality checks. Extend the lifespan of hearing aids and ensure they are working optimally.
