5KM Fun Run & Walk: Powered by Passion, Purpose, and Community

Organized by third-semester students in Humber’s Fitness & Health Promotion program—under the guidance of dedicated faculty—this year’s 5KM Fun Run & Walk was a vibrant success in support of Stella’s Place, a non-profit offering free mental health services to young adults.

From concept to execution, students gained hands-on experience in event planning, coordination, and evaluation—strengthening their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills in a real-world setting.

Congratulations to our students for bringing this event to life with such energy and professionalism!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who ran, walked, donated, or cheered—your support not only empowered our students but also made a meaningful impact for a vital cause. From the neon gear to the incredible community spirit, it was inspiring to see the Humber community come together.

To everyone who showed up—thank you for making it unforgettable!
