The High Acuity- RN certificate program is designed for registered nurses (RNs) employed in a Level 2 (Step Down) Coronary care, Surgical or Intensive Care Unit and/or seeking to advance their practice in Level 2 ICU nursing. You will learn nursing assessment; evidence-informed nursing interventions; and how to develop collaborative and consultative partnerships with High Acuity clients, their support systems and other health-care practitioners. You will also develop high-level critical thinking, care planning, leadership and professional practice skills.
