Annually, Food and Nutrition Management students provide a wealth of knowledge to the Humber community by organizing a Healthy Eating at Humber event in the Concourse.
Everyone in the Humber community visits the booths where students present topics such as healthy foods, pulses, healthy fats, fibre, and how to incorporate healthy elements into your diet.
Booths may provide samples of healthy snacks, prepared by the students, as well as informative handouts and expertise from the students themselves.
This event is the program’s capstone project. Often timed in coordination with the Dietitians of Canada Nutrition Month, students are excited for the opportunity to share the knowledge they have learned in the program overall.
