Respiratory Mask Fit

If you require Mask fit testing and Clearance you will need to book an in-person appointment for clearance. The following steps must be followed:

  1. Select the appropriate medical and nonmedical forms for your program.
  2. Ensure that all documents and forms are completed and collated as required.
  3. Book an in-person appointment.
  4. Ensure that you book your appointment with the Respiratory Mask Fit Testing ONLY person for your Mask Fit Test and Clearance Appointment.
  5. Mask Fit Testing and in-person clearance appointments will be conducted in Rm LX101. Please complete the COVID-19 Self Assessment using the Humber Guardian App before coming on campus. 
  6. The $40.00 fee for Mask Fit testing and the $40.00 fee for in person clearance appointments are paid with Interac, Visa or Mastercard.

Any questions regarding the clearance process can be emailed to: placementpre-requisite@humber.ca. Due to the volume of emails, please allow a 48-hour turnaround time.

If you are unable to attend your booked MASK FIT appointment, you are required to cancel a minimum of 24 hours prior to your booked appointment time. Failure to do so will result in a No Show Fee of $20 being charged to your My Humber account.
