Clearance - Frequently Asked Questions

All emails concerning details of a student’s clearance status will be communicated to the student by the Clearance Team via humbermail. Students should become accustomed to utilizing their Humber e-mail.

For new and returning students you will need to register, if required, and book an appointment on the following site: humberhealth.mywconline.com

All appointments must be cancelled within 24 hours, any missed appointments will be charged a $20 no show fee.

Mask fit appointments are conducted in-person on campus in room K216. Mask fit is done by appointment ONLY, detailed instructions are provided once the appointment has been booked. You are able to book your mask fit appointment via humberhealth.mywconline.com.

All students will be sent an invoice to sign and complete at the time of their appointment. Please note fees will be paid by Visa, Debit or Mastercard.

Any clearance related questions can be e-mailed to placementpre-requisite@humber.ca

Students who have not fulfilled their medical and non-medical requirements will not be permitted to attend placement.

Please note we are receiving a high volume of e-mails, a response from the Clearance Team will be provided within 48-72 hours.

The medical and non-medical forms can be found online within the Work Integrated Learning section of the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness website. Please ensure you are selecting your particular program.

Students residing in the City of Toronto will require the signed vulnerable sector screen form and request for this can be sent to placementpre-requisite@humber.ca

Please ensure you are utilizing Internet Explorer to complete your e-modules. If difficulties continue to persist and you are getting the completion certificate at the end of the e-module, please take a screenshot of your e-module completion and e-mail it to hspnethumber@humber.ca for further assistance.

It is the student’s responsibility to review their HSPnet account and check the validity of their requirements. Requirements can be found under the “Student Profile” tab.
