In this course, students will trace human development from conception to death, studying the many physical and psychological changes that occur over the span of a lifetime. Organized chronologically, the course will address a number of important questions including: How do heredity and environment combine to produce particular developmental outcomes? What behavioural, emotional, cognitive and personality characteristics are associated with specific age groups? What strategies can be used to deal with atypical development?
