Effective interpersonal communication in the field of early childhood education includes reflective practice, conflict resolution and group facilitation skills. Principles of fairness and equity, ethical decision-making, partnerships and understanding barriers to communication will be emphasized to ensure high quality teaching and learning communities. The value of membership in the College of ECE to inform quality, standards and practice will be a key component in recognizing the need for life-long learning as an early childhood educator.
