This course in Environmental Health explores the linkages between human health and environment. Concepts of environmental surveillance, risk assessment, and impact on health are explored. In addition, the impact of human activity on the global environment and interventions to reduce environmental impact are explored. Discussed are the socio-political factors inherent in development of regulations and policies to protect the public and promote healthier environments.
