Herbal Process and Dispensary

This course builds upon earlier TCM herbology studies. It is designed to develop the student's ability to apply the knowledge of maintaining herbal inventory, processing herbs and dispensing herbal formulas. It introduces procedures to identify appropriate supply of herbs and assess the quality of herbs. Students will learn how to store herbs in appropriate conditions, including environment, security and monitoring.
